Pretty much like everybody else in the world, I've named my blog after a song I really like. The song is called, believe it or not, Double Back, by Flame. If you wanna listen to it, check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDcI_r0TfLU
The song talks about the importance of not leaving fellow believers behind, even if what they did was deserved. In my situation, I see it as really important to not leave our Dutch brothers and sisters behind, as a global church marches on toward expanding the Kingdom.
Even as my year of interning is very much geared toward evangelism, I also kind of see it as a way that I can help out a country whose church has slipped and fell greatly from many years ago. My heart is to "double back" and help a people who has helped so many of us, through their installation of God-honoring practices in West Michigan many years ago.
